Your Questions, Answered
Where can I find spare parts?
We hold stock of most, if not all, proprietary parts manufactured by ourselves together with a reasonable stock of new original VW components as utilised on the MVW3. If a component is temporarily unavailable due to high demand, back orders can usually be filled within a few business days. Orders can be placed directly via the website and are usually dispatched by courier within 24 hours. Alternatively, call or e-mail us for availability.
Where can I drive my MVW3 if not racing?
Almost all circuits offer organised track days where no competition license is required. In addition, some circuits also offer test days where, again, a competition license is not mandatory. All such days allow you to take full advantage of both seats in the Nash MVW3 and all that is required for both driver and passenger are crash-helmets, gloves, and reasonably protective clothing.

Where will I be able to race?
There are a number of different series in which the Nash MVW3 will be eligible to compete.
The African Endurance Series consists of up six multi-driver events of between 3 and 9 hours duration held at circuits around the country. With its light-weight, fuel efficient, and durable power-train, the Nash MVDW3 is an ideal and cost-effective long distance racer. Currently, participation requires a Regional License issued by Motorsport South Africa (MSA – the governing body of South African motorsport).http://saenduranceseries.co.za/
The Inter-provincial Sports Car Challenge is series that runs at circuits across the country with a mixture of sprint races and longer-form events (often overlapping with the African Endurance Series).
At a club level, the Sport Racing Association series piggy-backs on the Modified Production Car category for a series of typically 2 x 8 lap sprint races in the Northern Regions area which encompasses the circuits of Kyalami, Zwartkops, Phakisa, Midvaal, & Redstar. http://www.sra.co.za Also – http://www.supersaloons-mpc.com/
Other sports car based series also operate at each of the coastal circuits of East London, Cape Town (Killarney) and Port Elizabeth (Aldo Scribante).

How and where is the chassis made?
The tubular steel chassis of the Nash MVW3 is built at our Johannesburg premises. Almost all of the materials are laser cut to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout production and then hand-welded on a dedicated jig. The completed chassis is then powder-coated for an attractive, durable, and corrosion resistant finish. Bodywork is in moulded GRP with a pigmented gelcoat finish.
How is the engine modified?
The 2 litre 8-valve VW engine is renowned for its strength and reliability. For use in the Nash MVW3, modification is limited to use of a high-performance camshaft and a lightened flywheel. Performance is optimised using a dedicated ‘locked’ ECU such that all engines deliver identical performance. Once the engine is tested and certified on our in-house dynometer, it is sealed to discourage further modification. In factory specification, the engine will deliver ample on-track performance and longevity with only the most basic of maintenance required.
Around what components is the Nash MVW3 built?
The Nash MVW3 uses components primarily drawn from early series of the Volkswagen Golf. With only a few minor exceptions, the engine and gearbox are essentially brand new and sourced directly from Volkswagen or through reputable VW component specialists such as Goldwagen. Other parts such as the steering rack, brakes, & radiators are fitted new and are similarly sourced.
